System Description
The RSS is being specially designed for inspecting unpiggable pipelines. The autonomous self-propelled Robotic Survey System is equipped with a novel heavy-duty, bi-directional & self-adapting tractor drive, an intelligent and redundant on-board mission control and a high-resolution MFL inspection unit. The modular design permits the easy adaptation of alternative inspection carriers for corrosion defects, mechanical defects, manufacturing defects, welding defects and crack defects.
