ROSEN's advanced NDT equipment, the EMAT In-Field Service Equipment, utilizes guided wave EMATs for the detection and sizing of metal loss anomalies and crack or crack-like features.
AXUS Tool
EMAT sensors transmitting the ultrasonic waves in longitudinal direction. Sensor can be unidirectional or bi-directional. This tool is normally used for screening tasks, however sizing of features is also possible with as case-by-case calibration procedure. The AXUS tool is perfect for inspection of structures not accessible (e.g. pit wall transition).
CIRC Tool
EMAT sensors transmitting the ultrasonic waves in circumferential direction. Normally two EMAT sensors are applied to the structure resulting in a long range and short range ultrasonic wave. The CIRC tool is perfect for sizing of features and can be used for any pipe inspection, inspection of pipes on support, etc.
